Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Pianokonsertto nro 24
Anton Bruckner: Sinfonia nro 9 (1896)
“The Ninth will be my masterpiece. I just ask God that he'll let me live until it's done”. Anton Bruckner never did get to complete his masterpiece, yet the mystical appeal of his soulful music lives on in eternity. The contrast between this and Mozart’s classically light-hearted piano concerto could not be greater. Friends Jukka-Pekka Saraste and Radu Lupu continue their fruitful collaboration.
