Change of soloist at Friday’s concert

Soprano Jenni Lättilä to sing instead of mezzo-soprano Katarina Karnéus

Swedish mezzo-soprano Katarina Karnéus, who was to have been the soloist at the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert at the Helsinki Music Centre on Friday October 21, has been obliged to cancel for reasons of health. Instead, the soloist in the song cycle by Karol Szymanowski will be Jenni Lättilä. The concert will be conducted by Mirga Gražinyté-Tyla, who this autumn began as Music Director of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

The programme for the concert is as previously announced, despite the change of soloist.
