Lélio will be narrated by Cécile Orblin

Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra presents a rare pairing of pieces by Berlioz - Cécile Orblin to replace André Wilms as narrator

The Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra’s concerts on 26-27 February will feature Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique and Lélio, ou Le retour à la vie (Lélio, The Return to Life). The two pieces will be performed together as intended for the first time in Finland. The concert will be conducted by Klaus Mäkelä, and the semi-staged Lélio will be directed by Erik Söderblom. The part of Lélio, an artist disappointed with love, will be narrated by actress Cécile Orblin. André Wilms, who was originally scheduled to perform the part, has had to cancel his appearance in Helsinki.
