At the last Encounters club of the spring, we get a breath of the atmosphere of HPO's US tour. The HPO octet played the same program for a prestigious audience at the residence of the Finnish ambassador to the United States in Washington before the Kennedy Center tour concert.
The popular Encounters Club is an arena for creative ideas and surprising encounters with performances by the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra’s musicians and friends.
The Encounters Club is open to all and free of charge, and it takes place on Fridays around once a month in the main foyer of the Helsinki Music Centre.
Free admission – welcome! The programme begins at 9pm after the evening’s concert, and the café is open until 10:30pm.
Yes, but only before or after the concert. During the concert we just want you to enjoy the music. This way you won’t disturb the musicians or other audience members.
Only the orchestra has a dress code. You can dress as you like.
