Pro Filharmonia

Pro Filharmonia ry serves as a link between the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and its audiences and promotes the practice and awareness of classical music.

The association:
• organises music outings for its members to concerts given by the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra elsewhere in Finland and abroad
• offers discounts on CDs at the Pro Filharmonia service point at HPO concerts
• organises get-togethers at which members can learn more about the orchestra’s activities in more detail and listen to performances by the orchestra’s musicians in different ensembles
• provides tips in its newsletters about special upcoming concert events in Helsinki
• seeks new supporters for its activities and to provide stipends to the orchestra’s musicians, as well as to procure high-quality instruments for use by the orchestra’s leading soloists
