Video audition for the position of principal trumpet, substitute

Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra is organising an audition for permanent principal trumpet position in September 2026.
This video audition is meant to invite few players interested in the position to work as principal trumpet with us for a week contract during spring 2026.

AUDITION REPERTOIRE:

Charlier Étude 2 (beginning to 12 bars after meno mosso)
Orchestral excerpts:
Mussorgsky Pictures of an exhibition (beginning to number 2)
Stravinsky Petrushka (march + 1st part of valse)
Mahler 7th Symphony (beginning of finale)
