Anneliina Rif, soprano
Linda Hedlund, baroque violin
Assi Karttunen, harpsichord
Soprano Anneliina Rif, violinist Linda Hedlund (Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra) and harpsichordist Assi Karttunen have created a concert with poetic elements based on early Italian music. The concert reflects the Baroque era and the questions we share with those who lived more than 300 years ago. These are encounters that deal with music, love, loneliness and individual freedom.
The programme includes La Musica from Claudio Monteverdi’s L'Orfeo and Girolamo Frescobaldi’s Toccata Settima and aria Così mi disprezzate, as well as works by Giovanni Antonio Pandolfi Mealli for violin and harpsichord.
