Presentation

Lively Viennese classics and atmospheric Schumann with the special guest of our musicians, super pianist Alexander Melnikov.

Mozart composed his opera overtures as musical trailers whose task was to quiet the audience and shift their attention from chatting and exchanging news to following the opera that was about to begin.

In this concert without a conductor, Ludwig van Beethoven's Triple Concerto is performed almost self-sufficiently, with the orchestra's second concertmaster Kreeta-Julia Heikkilä and second solo cellist Beata Antikainen shining as soloists. Seated at the piano is super pianist Alexander Melnikov, who will also be heard as a soloist after the intermission in Robert Schumann's Concertpiece.

Season tickets are on sale from 27 October to 24 November 2026.

Single tickets for concerts go on sale on 2 December 2026.
