Heini Eklund

I am from Hämeenlinna.

My favourite composers are Mozart, Prokofiev, Brahms, Mahler and Bach.

My favourite place in Helsinki is the roof of the Temppeliaukio church, where I used to sit when I lived in Töölö.

I studied at the Sibelius Academy and in Germany, at music high schools in Dusseldorf and Aachen.

I joined the orchestra in autumn 1987. Four people auditioned. My own audition was soon after my first ever concert.
