Bio

I was born in Lahti, where I spent the first five years of my life. We then moved from there to Helsinki because of my parents’ work.

I joined the orchestra in 2002, when I was completing my studies at the Sibelius Academy. Getting a job with the philharmonic orchestra was absolutely great and is still one of the highlights of my life!

When it comes to orchestral works I like to play the music of Richard Strauss, Tchaikovsky and Brahms.

Kaivopuisto and the Eira shoreline are full of memories for me. They are wonderful places all year round and highlight the maritime beauty of Helsinki. They are perfect for enjoying the outdoors and spending free time with the family.

The power of doing things together is addictive!
