Benjamin Appl to perform with the HPO on 11 & 12 May

The concert will be led by conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste and present selection of Gustav Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn songs and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 8.

The soloist for the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra’s concerts on 11 & 12 May has changed. Georg Nigl’s place as soloist will be taken by barytone Benjamin Appl. Despite the change in soloists, the published programme will remain the same.

The concert will be led by conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste and present selection of Gustav Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn songs and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 8.
