Music by Anton Wunderer for horn quartet

Anton Wunderer (1850–1906) was a Viennese hornist, conductor, accompanist and composer. He worked as a hornist at the Warsaw Opera and as a conductor at the Vienna Court Opera. Wunderer composed marches, waltzes and polkas for horn quartet, which is why he has been called the Johann Strauss of the horn quartet.

Movies often feature iconic compositions that are packed with emotions. At our library concerts, they are performed by the Jani Lehtonen Trio, which has been active for six years. In addition to violinist Jani Lehtonen, the trio includes Jorma Härkönen on guitar and Pekka Korhonen on double bass. The arrangements for the trio were made by Jorma Härkönen. The trio has made a "Musical Advent Calendar" on Facebook and YouTube already five times – adding up to 120 windows. Many classical music professionals have played together with the trio: this time they are joined by harpist Anni Kuusimäki.
