Pierre-Laurent Aimard to perform as piano soloist with the HPO at start of December 

The soloist for the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert on 3 December has changed. Mitsuko Uchida’s place as soloist will be taken by French pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard. Despite the change in soloists, the published programme will remain the same. The concert will be led by chief conductor Susanna Mälkki and present Karol Szymanowski’s Concert Overture, Arnold Schönberg’s Piano Concerto and Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8. 

Pierre-Laurent Aimard previously performed with the HKO back in 1994.
