Program information in print, extended content online

Starting in autumn 2026, the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra will introduce a new practice at its concerts: audience members will receive a complimentary program card containing essential information about the concert program. Program notes and artist presentations that deepen the listening experience will be published in a digital program booklet at ohjelma.helsinginkaupunginorkesteri.fi/en.

The texts will be published at the beginning of each concert week and will be available in Finnish, Swedish and English on both mobile devices and computers.

You can explore the content before the concert, during the interval or after the performance. The digital program booklet also includes an On the Stage Today section, featuring the musicians performing in each concert. The website also offers access to program notes and artist presentations from previous concerts.

Lyrics for vocal works and their Finnish translations will continue to be available in printed form at concerts.

The digital program booklet can also be used during the concert on your own mobile device. The platform has been designed with a dark background so that light from mobile phones causes as little disturbance as possible to other audience members.

At the same time, we encourage audiences to enjoy a calm concert experience focused on listening and on the music.
