Helsingin Sanomat: “Leif Segerstam’s Sibelius disc is unusually good!”

In 1998, Leif Segerstam conducted the orchestra in a recording of The Tempest, Aallottaret and Night Rise and Sunset. It was released by Ondine and was yet another addition to the HPO’s increasingly diverse Sibelius discography. The disc got good reviews in the press, and Helsingin Sanomat said, “Leif Segerstam’s Sibelius disc is unusually good!”
