Lemminkäinen, revised version, The Rapid-Rider’s Brides

Nor did Karl Flodin spare his words in reviewing the revised version of Lemminkäinen – on the contrary, he went even further: “Music like the Lemminkäinen portraits depresses me, makes me miserable, exhausted and apathetic.” By contrast, the ballad of The Rapid-Rider’s Brides moved even Flodin.
