Tour to Czechoslovakia
Historia
In May 1978, the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, with Paavo Berglund as its Artistic Director, visited the Prague Spring Festival in the Czechoslovakian capital. During this short tour, it performed works by Sibelius (Symphony No. 2, Finlandia), Kokkonen and Dvořák, Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky. The soloist was cellist Arto Noras.
