Beautiful, natural, pure. The exemplary loveliness of Mozart’s music was ringing in the mind of 19-year-old Franz Schubert as he composed his fifth symphony. The luminously dancing work is led by Christian Schumann, “the shining star of the new generation of German conductors!” (Die Neue Zürcher Zeitung) The organ was one of Kaija Saariaho's childhood instruments. The circle now closes, as this concert features the winning composition in the concerto series of the competition bearing the composer's name.
Yes, but only before or after the concert. During the concert we just want you to enjoy the music. This way you won’t disturb the musicians or other audience members.
Only the orchestra has a dress code. You can dress as you like.
