Central Europe tour

During its tour of Central Europe with Susanna Mälkki, the HPO played to sold-out halls in Dortmund, Amsterdam, Vienna, Katowice and Warsaw, in a programme that included the 2nd and 5th symphonies by Jean Sibelius and Ludwig van Beethoven, respectively. Also on the tour programme were Flounce by Lotta Wennäkoski and the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with Pekka Kuusisto as the soloist.
