The Jaeger March for male choir and orchestra

A politically delicate work, the Jaeger March was premiered on 20th April 1920 with an orchestral accompaniment at a gala arranged for the German forces that had taken part in Finland’s Civil War. “The original and beautiful military song” made “an electrifying impression at the right, very quick tempo taken by the composer himself”.
