South American tour under Saraste and Segerstam
Historia
In 2004, the HPO went on tour to Estonia, Spain and South America. In Estonia, the programme included Sibelius’s fifth symphony, in Spain The Bard and some songs, and in South America Pohjola’s Daughter and Symphonies No. 2 & 5. The Spanish concerts were conducted by Jukka-Pekka Saraste, and those in Argentina and Brazil by Leif Segerstam.
